Today, I decided to ride my bike from our house to the school. It is only about a 14 mile ride, so I thought it would be no problem. There are a couple of different routes to get to the school. I chose the one with the least amount of traffic, thinking that would be the safest option. However, I did not take into account all the hills… It was up and down, up and down, and then up and down again. My legs were burning and it ended up taking a lot longer than expected. Next, time I am going to have to look into a a flatter route.
