Goodbye, January…Hello, February!!!

Yay, February is almost here! It is the my favorite month of the year, I am sure you can guess why…  It’s my birthday month!  Only a few more days until I turn a quarter of a century old:)  Even though I am super excited about the next month, January was pretty great!  Here’s a look at what I am loving so far in 2013:

Screen Shot 2013-01-31 at 4.31.34 PMNike GPS Sports Watch – This has to be my #1 favorite for January!!  So far I have logged a little over 70 miles on this baby (I was hoping for 100 miles but thanks to shin splints & being sick, I’ve adjusted my expectations).  If you are already linked with Nike+ and are looking for a way to another way to track your miles, this is the only option.

Downton Abbey – This show is amazing! I cannot believe I did not watch it until now.  If you have not seen it yet, watch it.  But make sure you start at the beginning:)

Nike Team USA jacket – I got this amazing jacket at the Nike Factory Store right before Christmas.  It has since become my go to running jacket.  And did I mention that while wearing it, multiple people have asked me if I was on an Olympic team:)

The Silver Linings Playbook – I actually read the book last month, but I finally watched the movie a few weeks ago.  It was amazing!!! I have to say, it was probably the only film adaptation that I thought was as good as, if not better, than the book.  If you wanna see what else I’m reading, click here.

Maybelline Tattoo Eyeshadow – I don’t usually blog about beauty products, but these little guys are amazing!  And a steal for only $5 each.  Want to read some more about them, here’s a great review.

Texas – I was sooo lucky this month! I got to ring in the New Year in Texas and then got to go home again a few weeks later.  Both visits were amazing.  Now I am counting down the days until I can go back!

lululemon SeaWheeze Half Marathon – the lulu half was only one of many races I signed up for this past month.  I am so excited to get some medals for my display! My first half is only a few weeks away.

As you can see, I am staying consistant with my running & yoga… However, I am really slacking when it comes to ZWOWz & NTCs.  I need to make sure I am getting at least 3 weight/resistance sessions in a week.
